MemeCore's goal is to create a playground where meme communities come together to build the future of web3 while having fun. We believe that for web3 to shine, our creations must be something that everyone enjoys and truly believes in.
The MemeCore mainnet is an EVM-compatible L1 cross-chain mainnet secured by the Proof of Meme. Through collaboration among different mainnets and meme coin communities, MemeCore is secured by a multi-chain cross-staking Proof of Meme mechanism where users can delegate their meme coins to validators to enhance security and earn dual-block-rewards.
We believe that every stakeholder - whether they are holders, dApps, validators, or anything else - is equally valuable to the ecosystem. We are committed to the principle that all participants must continuously cooperate and be fairly rewarded to maintain a sustainable and secure economy.
EVM-compatible: The MemeCore network is an Ethereum Virtual Machine compatible network. Users and developers familiarized with the Ethereum network can onboard into MemeCore with ease.
Cross-chain consensus: The PoM (Proof of Meme) algorithm is based on a cross-chain staking architecture that enhances security through cross-chain cooperation.
Dual rewards: MemeCore is the first mainnet to offer a dual block reward system. PoM participants are rewarded with both $M and MRC-20 tokens for truthful block creations.
Why memes and meme coins? -> Who doesn't like memes?
Why EVM-compatible? -> EVM is one of the most accessible and reliable web3 technologies in the world. Combined with the biggest community (Solidity), our approach was to provide users and developers with something they are already used to. Why complicate when things are working (well)?
Why L1? -> In order to fully deliver our message, we chose to build our own L1. The whole architecture of MemeCore is designed to be inclusive with focus on meme coin communities.
